Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) MembersTAC is a group of professional from wetland impacting sectoral ministries and organization such as Forests, Agriculture, Energy, Irrigation, Local Development, Industry, Environment, Tourism, National Planning commission, DNPWC and DoF.
The committee is further supported by two national networks that have representation from the government, non-government (national & international) and private sectors including specialists and wetlands dependent people.
The committee is the entry point for all wetlands issues and provides policy recommendations to the NWC for endorsement and action.
The committee supports to address issues such as hydropower plan, policy related to subsidy, management of Ramsar sites within and outsides protected areas, integration of wetlands issues into EIA/SEA.
