Introduction

Conservation and Sustainable Use of Wetlands in Nepal (CSUWN) is a joint undertaking of the Government of Nepal (GoN), Global Environmental Facility (GEF) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). The project is executed by the Ministry of Forests and Soil Conservation (MFSC) since 2008. In short, the project is known as "Wetland Project" and is of five years duration. The two project sites are Ghodaghodi Lake Area (GLA) in the far-west region and Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve (KTWR) in the eastern region of Nepal.
